Why We Curate
I went from surviving on instant noodles to sampling dishes across the globe—but one thing never changed: my obsession with finding great recipes. Oomameh is what happens when years of cravings, curiosity, and questionable kitchen experiments finally pay off. No paywalls, no snobbery—just seriously good food for average humans like you and me.
I am a foodie who cooks and eats. He eats for pleasure, with passion, and pushes home cheffiness with joyful urgency. At home he competes against himself; out in the world he forages for tasty morsels of true and knowledge. Every bite is good (knowledge) or bad (learning). Nothing is wasted for the pursuit of tastiness.
Our Philosophy
Delicious shouldn’t be difficult. Flavor first; fuss never.
At Oomameh, we believe good food shouldn’t require a culinary degree, a ring light, or a second mortgage. Our philosophy is simple: everyday cooks deserve extraordinary flavor. Whether you’re working with two spices and a dream or raiding the fridge in your pajamas, we’re here to make sure your next meal is worth remembering (and maybe even repeating). It’s about joy, not perfection—because flavor doesn’t judge.”
Our Founder
I am one of the Steves. I created Feed the Steve Foundation when I was 17, because I was pretty ok at cooking and I didn’t know how else to get attention from girls.
